Beautiful young patients turn to minimally-invasive technologies like FaceTite, Morpheus8, Profound RF, and Neck Liposuction to get a "snatched" jawline with clean definition from the ear to the chin. Not only are these "snatched" techniques effective, but they're also quick and offer a fast recovery.
We asked our board-certified facial plastic surgeons at the Gallery of Cosmetic Surgery & Aesthetic Lounge to explain how they give their patients a "snatched" jawline.
"All of these procedures treat the deep skin layers and the underlying fat," they said. The tight, clean jawline shows up after the surgeon removes the excess fat and stimulates the skin to tighten.
FaceTite, Morpheus8, and Profound RF all use radiofrequency energy to heat the deeper layers of skin. These devices stimulate the synthesis of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid. Our board-certified facial plastic surgeons say this thickens and tightens the skin for improved contouring and rejuvenation.
Each of these technologies will give you a "snatched" jawline; it's just a matter of choosing the one that will work best on your unique face and neck. Every patient is different; there are plenty of options.
Dr. Kevin Sadati, board certified Newport Beach plastic surgeon said, "Non-invasive and minimally invasive facial contouring procedures are commonly combined to achieve optimal results."
Neck liposuction is paired with FaceTite or Profound RF because they break down fat cells in preparation for liposuction.
"After an RF treatment, liposuction is highly effective in further removing fat cells," they said.
Morpheus8 can be combined with either RF treatment (FaceTite or Profound) to, according to Dr. Sadati, "synergistically treat the skin from the surface and further boost collagen and elastin production."
Each technology has its strengths, and you can combine them to get that "snatched" jawline look.
Facelifts are an excellent option for older patients who are comfortable with twilight sedation and have the recovery time to heal from their incisions.
But Dr. Kevin Sadati said non-invasive or minimally-invasive facial contouring procedures could be performed under local anesthesia and oral relaxant medications. This means there is no need for general anesthesia or deep intravenous (IV) sedation.
These procedures are generally shorter in duration than a traditional facelift and neck lift. They are associated with easier post-treatment recovery compared to surgical rejuvenation.
Depending on the technique used, there are either no (or very small) skin incisions, which eliminates the possibility of noticeable scarring.
"Minimally invasive facial contouring is an excellent treatment option for younger patients seeking improved facial and neck definition who may not yet be a candidate for a traditional facelift and neck lift," they said.
Facelifts are highly effective and offer great results. But if you're young, minimally-invasive facial contouring procedures are the way to go. They're quick to perform and provide a fast recovery.
